  John is a long time resident of Springfield, MO and graduate of Drury University Hammons School of Architecture. He is a registered Architect and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He has more than 13 years of architectural experience and specializes in large complex projects and project management. He is the co-founder of Torgerson Ragsdale Architects, LLC and currently serves as President responsible for firm operations. John leads projects with the constant idea to evaluate rational solutions, re-think the obvious, re-work the complicated & practice simplicity.

John is heavily involved in the community including Rotary, 2012 Chairman of the board Ozark Chamber of Commerce & Finley River Community Foundation. He served on the board as Vice President of the Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks and is a past graduate of Leadership Springfield Class of 18.
